Family Dentist in Hillsborough
David M. DeGiralamo, MD, DMD
Dr. David DeGiralamo is ecstatic to be part of the long-standing and patient-centric Cornerstone team, providing high-quality preventative, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry solutions.
Dr. David received his undergraduate degree from Duke University (B.S., 1992) and his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – Robert Wood Medical School (M.D., 1996). He then went on to complete his residency training in Family Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (1999).
Eager to spend the early part of his career in healthcare business, Dr. David also received his MBA distinction from The Harvard Business School in 2001, graduating with Honors. He has worked in a number of healthcare sectors, including Wall Street equity research, biotech consulting, medtech venture capital, public equity investing and general/pediatric dental practice management.
Dr. David also is a graduate of the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (D.M.D., 2020), graduating near the top of his class. He strives to be at the forefront of dental innovation and attends continuing education classes regularly.
Transparent and empathic communication has been a guiding principle for Dr. David throughout his career, and he considers himself a lifelong student of leadership, self-improvement and team-based collaboration. He was selected by his peers to be President of his class at the Harvard Business School and at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. In addition, he is the current Mayor of Union Township (Hunterdon County), elected by his community to serve on the Township Committee in 2021 and by his Committee colleagues to serve as Mayor each of his first three years. He pens a quarterly newsletter for the Township, called “The People’s Press,” keeping residents informed of goings-on in town and writing creative feature stories on the lives of his neighbors.
Dr. David’s greatest pride, however, rests on the heads of his two beautiful children, Dominic and Juliet. Both are nearing high school and are finding him increasingly less cool with each passing year. Nonetheless, Dr. David derives considerable joy in being their dad.
